I visited Nepal in September 2006 for the purpose of trekking in the Annapurna Sanctuary area. I was introduced to Clan Treks and Bishwa Chapagain by a mutual friend from the United Kingdom.
The level of service I received from Clan Treks was second to none, in fact a close friendship has developed as a result of the 10 days we spend trekking in the Sanctuary...

People come to Nepal with the expectation of taking a break from their routine life or switching off from their daily chores, and that is exactly what Nepal has an offer. The rugged yet beautiful slopes of the Himalayas, the unforgiving yet gorgeous mountain terrains, and the deep yet wonderful sounds of the flowing rivers has helped strike the imaginative chord of so many poets, artists and song writers. For an ordinary person, it is simply a wonderful experience.
Nature has blessed Nepal tremendously. These days Eco-Tourism has immense potential to help the global fight against poverty and Nepal is also no exception to this. Nepal is ranked among the top ten Eco Tourism destinations in the world. 8 of 10 highest peaks on Earth, 18 world heritage listed sites and 16 commercial national parks, 850 species of birds, nearly 200 species of Animals, 500 of the world’s 15 families of butterflies, 319 species of exotic orchid, 35 % of the land covered by thick tropical forests, abundance of white water rivers, falls and pristine lakes, lush green mountains with top to bottom greenery, and yet the list goes on has made Nepal Nature’s paradise. The greatest mountain range on earth, thick tropical jungles teeming with a wealth of wildlife, thundering rivers, forested hills and frozen valleys are all awaiting to give visitors a lifetime memory.
