Bungy Jumping in Nepal

If you think that bungy jumping is limited to only at some places in Europe, New Zealand and America, it's time for you to update. This ultimate thrill opportunity is now available at a natural home of the highest mountain, which perhaps the best site in the world.
Nepal's bungee jumping site is situated 160 meters over the wild River Bhote Kosi way to China border. The site is located close to the Nepal-Tibet border at Barahbise and is a three-hour bus ride from Kathmandu. A package deal includes the jump, bus ride to the site, and even meals. Accommodation and other facilities are available in the site. The jump, at 160m, was designed by one of New Zealand's leading bungy consultants, and has been staffed and operated by some of the most experienced western jump masters in the business. It's mishap-proof. The agency takes safety "very, very seriously".
The Gorge
Ultimate Bungy Nepal takes place on a 166m wide steel suspension bridge over the Bhoti Kosi River.
The Bridge
Swiss designed, especially for bungy jumping with a 4x safety factor. The bridge has a loading factor of 250kg per running meter. This means that the bridge will hold 250 x 166 = 41,500kg or 4.5 tones. And... Those are Swiss measurements! Over 6000 meters of steel wire was used to build the bridge. This is the longest suspension bridge in Nepal. The bridge joins two sides of a great valley. Before its construction, locals walked five hours to cross this river gorge.
Day to Day Outline Itinerary (1 Night / 2 days Bungy Jumping Package)
| Day 01. | After the breakfast, you will be driven to Last Resort (Ultimate Bungy Spot). After arrival on the spot, there will be briefing and then you will prepare for your most coveted bungy. After the adventurous and memorable jump, there will be time for you to take rest. Overnight stay will be at Last Resort. |
| Day 02. | After breakfast, you will have opportunity to visit around the Last Resort. You can view beautiful landscape, gorge and village scenery on your own. After that you will be driven to Kathmandu. |
