I visited Nepal in September 2006 for the purpose of trekking in the Annapurna Sanctuary area. I was introduced to Clan Treks and Bishwa Chapagain by a mutual friend from the United Kingdom .

The level of service I received from Clan Treks was second to none, in fact a close friendship has developed as a result of the 10 days we spend trekking in the Sanctuary area. I intend to return to Nepal in the late spring of 2007 to trek some more in this fantastic country …I will off course be using Clan Treks again.

If you’re planning to go to Nepal then there is only ONE company to trek with…Clan Treks.

In March 2006 my good friend Ian and I decided we wanted to go trekking in Nepal, Through a friend we contacted Clan Treks to discuss our trip, Bishswa Chapagain, via of email and telephone organized our trip for us, It was a five star service from start to finish from Clan Treks as They organized our collection from the airport, through to our trekking permits, our travel in Nepal and our accommodation, when in the capital city of Katmandu he was happy to show us round the city and then when we began trekking in the annipurna range he was a fantastic guide continually giving us information about our surroundings and pointing out all there was to see, It is truly the best trekking holiday I have been on as Bishwa Chapagain and his team became good friends along with the other Nepalese people we met every one was so genuinely kind . I will certainly in the future be returning to Nepal where I will be using Clan Treks to put together my next trekking itinerary in the Himalayas.

If you are planning to visit Nepal do not waste time searching through brochures and trekking companies just drop clan treks and email.

My wife and I trekked the Annapurna circuit in 1999. We loved it so much we vowed to return and trek the Everest Circuit from Lukla to Gokyo, over the Cho-la, then KalaPatthar and return to Lukla. Mr. Bishwa Chapagain basically said "nonsense" and explained that his Guides/porters were experienced and were all very familiar with the passes, and that we could do it. "It is a tough pass, but you can do it." Shortly after that we were introduced to Kusang, our Sherpa porter. What a delightful young man! At 21 years old he had already been over Cho-la pass many times, and had been to Kalar Pattar at least 12 times. He spoke very good English so communication was easy. He was A+ in every aspect. Strong, pleasant, and very flexible. Each evening he would sit down with us and tell us of the timing of plans for the next day ....! This was a most incredible trek offering some of the most incredible views and landscapes on the planet. Never did we feel in danger, or over-exerted, and the whole experience was aided by Kusang Sherpa and Mr. Bishw a of Clan treks.

Hi

I am a trekker who likes to walk alone, contempling the amazing beauty of Nature. But this time I decided to come back in Nepal with my father (60 years old) for trekking. As he never trekked in his life, it was neccesary to hire a guide. So I contacted Clan Treks agency, and I was really amazed by the effiency of Bishwa, the manager. KC, the guide he presented us, won our confidence immediatly. 20 years of experience, speaking an excellent english, zen and funny, it was going to be a nice journey.

I had a very nice time with KC and Shambu. We were taking runs sometimes the three of us to see who's the fastest and Shambu was always the last one! As I love to walk alone and look at the nature, they let me walk far further or behind without paranoing that something may happen to their client if they were not there. We didn't had only a great guide, I found a little family in Nepal, where I am sure, I will be always welcome whenever I'll come back! And my father too! I strongly recommand Clan Treks & Expedition (P) Ltd. Agency.

Hi All,

Clan Treks was recommended to me by a very professional tour organizer from Singapore. This was my first experience in Nepal so I needed good advice. The Clan Treks manager met me at the airport in Kathmandu and assisted me with trip preparations while in Kathmandu. I never got lost in Kathmandu narrow streets. The choice of guide and porter was excellent. The whole trip felt like it was a great team effort during my Annapurna Base camp with PoonHill. The guide would trek in front of me with the porter behind me so that there was no chance for a mishap. I came across a struggling European woman who could not find her party, while in Tadapani, I saw 2 people unaccompanied heading for the next rest house (maybe 2 hours away) shortly before dark. There was always laughter among us while I saw many other groups without a happy face. The porter was always ready to take my daypack from me when I was struggling, usually later in the day. Once we stopped for the day, the guide always ensured that everything was provided for my comfort. Once back in Kathmandu, the guide was still available to ensure I enjoyed my time in Nepal. I gave Clan Treks a score of 10.
