I visited Nepal in September 2006 for the purpose of trekking in the Annapurna Sanctuary area. I was introduced to Clan Treks and Bishwa Chapagain by a mutual friend from the United Kingdom.
The level of service I received from Clan Treks was second to none, in fact a close friendship has developed as a result of the 10 days we spend trekking in the Sanctuary...

The Mt. Everest North Face Base Camp trek is among the most popular for trekkers in Tibet. Being near Dingri on the Friendship Highway, it is relatively easy to access. And the walk is not particularly strenuous – only one low pass must be crossed. Near the Base Camp is the reconstructed monastery of Rongphuk, once one of the largest monastic complexes in the region. The views from here of the Everest North Face, perhaps the most dramatic of all its sides, are unforgettable. Well-acclimatized trekkers without mountaineering expertise have a number of interesting options, including going up to more advanced camps. This is made possible by the relatively gentle gradient and the lack of dangerous glaciers and crevasses in the initial stages.
