Trisuli:
Familiar River (1-3 days)
The Trisuli river is the popular choice for those looking
for a day or two of white water rafting specially because
it is close to Kathmandu and Pokhara and this trip can also
be combined with a trip to Pokhara or Chitwan(or both) if
travelling one way by surface.
This is the most popular river in Nepal probably because journey
to different tourist destinations can be combined with rafting.
After a few hours driving from Kathmandu or Pokhara, it offers
1-3 days rafting with exciting rapids such as "Upset,
Bijuli, Lady’s Delight, and Surprise etc". Especially
in the monsoon it becomes so tough having heart touched rapids,
whirlpools and waves.
